Jairus Gilbert is a visionary coach and dedicated player development specialist who has made a significant impact on Georgia basketball. As a highly recruited All-Region and All-State All-Star in high school, Jairus earned multiple offers to play at the next level. Instead of pursuing those opportunities, he chose to dedicate his life to mentoring the next generation of athletes.

With an elite basketball IQ and an innate ability to teach, Jairus has worked with numerous athletes—many of whom have gone on to play at the collegiate level. As a back-to-back GAPPS State Champion coach, he consistently leads programs that compete at the highest level. This past season alone, five of his players were selected as All-Stars, a testament to his unwavering commitment to developing talent and guiding teams to success.

At the heart of Jairus’s coaching philosophy is a mission grounded in faith, grit, and discipline. He believes in more than just building great basketball players; he is committed to shaping future leaders who will inspire and uplift their communities for years to come.
